A structured sans serif with a human flair, Rantifusa™ is a display typeface that combines Modernism with Art Deco. Reminiscent of old woodcut type, could comfortably live in antique tango billboards, Old World smoky cafes, or intricate boxes containing exquisite chocolates. Those are some of the diverse creative muses that inspired me to begin this typeface development, my first incursion into the world of type design.

The development of Rantifusa started at ISIA Urbino Type Week 2011, under the guidance of Bruno Maag and Jonathan Pierini from Dalton Maag. It is continuing with the help of Rod Cavazos and Chiharu Tanaka from PsyOps.
